MANJUNG: Beginning May 1, Arwana Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. will take over the stage bus service (Bas Perak Sejahtera) in the Manjung district.
This announcement was made via the Facebook page of the Manjung Municipal Council (MPM).
“It is informed that the stage bus operator for the Manjung district (Bas Perak Sejahtera) will be taken over by Arwana Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. effective May 1, 2025.
“The public is advised to take note of this change in operator to ensure smooth operations and travel,” said the statement.
Previously, the stage bus service (Bas Perak Sejahtera) in Manjung was operated by Perak Transit.
Meanwhile, in its statement, Perak Transit announced that it would officially cease operations on April 30, 2025.
“Throughout the implementation of this project, we deeply appreciated the support and cooperation from all parties, especially the loyal users who helped make this initiative a success.
“This termination certainly leaves a deep impact, but we believe every journey has its final destination.
“Thank you for all the trust that has been given,” Perak Transit’s statement concluded.
